Typographical Collages

In collaboration with design giant Scott Clum, these collages explore my introduction into combining Swiss Grit design with hand-cut collage: the signature design movement practiced by Scott and his colleagues over many years. A mentorship with Scott allowed for my exploration of creating works that apply my approaches to his practices, diving into the concepts of being present within design and exploring spatial relationships in typography. While in different stages of our respective design careers, we bonded closely over our aligning interests, inspirations, and same stoke for the world. This project articulates those conversations and time spent together.
